Shiga Kogen is by far the largest ski resort in Japan consisting of 21 interlinking ski fields and approximately 70 lifts, gondolas, ropeways and tows, all accessible with one lift pass. The lift ticket also includes shuttle bus rides running between interconnected slopes. With a resort this size, it goes without saying that there are runs for every ability level and skiing style from long perfectly groomed cruising runs, gentle beginners’ slopes, bottomless powder and challenging moguls.
